Heads Up Boston

City of Boston

Teens aren’t getting the mental health support they need. Especially those in POC and LGBTQ+ communities. And they trust other teens for support. Heads Up, Boston is a movement meant to open the lines of communication and create a network of teens supporting teens.

We held several activity-based focus groups in communities around Boston and learned they would find community through fashion (there were constant themes of street style) and communication (where “heads up” came from).

So how did we turn all that knowledge into a movement?

We made a clothing line and built a pop up shop.
